It is fine, delicate, luminous. A newcomer to the PRECIOUS ELEGANCE collection from CENTURY dedicated to exceptional timepieces, ALLEGRIA is a jewellery watch that celebrates in a novel and romantic way the many facets of radiant femininity.

Its petite size – just 24 mm in diameter – makes it particularly coquettish. For ALLEGRIA is a watch that is both beautiful and playful. In a choice of materials, stones, bracelets and straps, everything comes together to make this gem a delight to wear on the wrist in all situations.

The same goes for its case, in white or yellow gold, crowned with a CENTURY sapphire. This is a unique and everlasting material, whose 48 facets have been cut and polished by hand by the manufacture’s master craftsmen. The light plays off each edge, further enhancing the colour of the gold, which is complemented by the iridescent shimmer of the white mother-of-pearl dial. This luminous dialogue between strength and softness is joined by the vibrant sparkle of diamonds: on the ring and the hour-markers, in their drop-shaped settings like glittering dew. Those on the attachments too, which have been designed with particular attention to detail.

Bringing a twist to ALLEGRIA’s classic architecture, the attachments have been conceived as curves that interlace asymmetrically around the watch, also responding to the rounded shape of the hands. These two series of waves, designed to be both sophisticated and natural, are a stylised echo of the moving fabrics of the robes in the new advertising campaign, which takes dance as its theme. A dance which is particularly luxurious here, thanks to the gold bracelets crafted in Milanese mesh, a technique handed down by Italian Renaissance goldsmiths, as well as straps in purple or hazelnut alligator leather.
